The Action Learning workshop provides an opportunity for a small group of businesses who are more than less in the same situation i.e. pre-start or test-trading to share ideas. Everyone has an opportunity to introduce their business and discuss what help and advice they need, what stage they are at and the next phase of their business. The role of the other clients is to listen, reflect, ask questions and offer advice. It is a chance to network and even to encourage business between them, but most importantly it provides an opportunity to develop ideas, solve problems and share experiences on how to overcome obstacles. At the end of the session action points will be compiled with the help of the rest of the group. The Action Learning workshop has been specifically tailored from the techniques used by the Welsh Assembly Governments Agrisgôp project, which has proved to be a very useful and beneficial tool for the Ffatri Fenter clients.

The examples used are tailored to the group's business ideas which make the workshop relevant to everyone present. Each test trading business who attends receives a free report "5 Ways to Grow a Business" which has been developed by Melina Abbott of Business by Results. www.businessbyresults.com
